A new minefield every day. No guessing needed.
Minesweeper is the classic logic game: a grid of covered squares, some hiding mines. Open a safe square and it shows a number: how many of the eight squares around it hide a mine. Use the numbers to work out where every mine is, and open every square that is safe.
Our daily Minesweeper fixes the thing that makes the classic so frustrating: the forced 50/50 guess. Every board is checked by a logic solver before it goes live, and the game opens the same first area for everyone, so the whole field can always be cleared by reasoning alone. If you hit a mine, it was something the numbers could have told you.
Everyone gets the same minefield each day, so the leaderboard is a fair race. Early in the week it is a 9 by 9 field with 10 mines; midweek 11 by 11 with 20; at weekends 30 mines on a 12 by 12 field. A mine costs one of your three lives rather than the whole game, so one slip doesnโt ruin your day.

๐ฎHow to play
- 1
The game opens a safe area for you to start from. Each number counts the mines in the eight squares touching it.
- 2
Tap a covered square to open it. Long-press or right-click to plant a flag on a square you know is a mine (on a phone you can also switch on Flag mode).
- 3
Tap an open number whose mines are all flagged to open every other square around it at once.
- 4
Opening a mine costs one of your three lives. The third mine ends the game.
- 5
Open every safe square to clear the field. Faster times, fewer mines hit and fewer hints mean more points.
๐กTips & tricks
- Tip 1
Start with the 1s on edges and corners: a 1 touching only one covered square tells you exactly where its mine is.
- Tip 2
Learn the 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1 patterns along a wall. They show up on almost every board and settle several squares at once.
- Tip 3
Flag a mine as soon as you are sure of it. Then tap the numbers around it to open their safe squares in one go.
- Tip 4
Stuck? Count. The mines-left counter can settle the last few squares of a board, and every board here can be finished without a guess.
๐Questions
Is it really no-guess Minesweeper?
Yes. Before a board goes live, a logic solver clears it from the opening area using only what the numbers tell you. If it would need a guess anywhere, the board is thrown away and a new one is made.
What happens if I hit a mine?
You lose one of your three lives, the mine is marked on the board, and you carry on. The third mine ends the game and your daily streak starts again.
How do I flag on a phone?
Long-press a square to flag it, or switch on Flag mode above the board so every tap plants or removes a flag. Tap Flag mode again to go back to opening squares.
Can I play Minesweeper against a friend?
Yes. Challenge a friend to a live 1v1 race on the same fresh minefield. The first to clear it wins, and every mine hit adds ten seconds.
