One line. Every square. Numbers in order.
Zip is a quick logic puzzle played on a small grid. Starting at 1, draw a single path that passes through every square exactly once and visits the numbered squares in order (1, 2, 3 and so on), finishing on the highest number. The path moves up, down, left or right, never diagonally, and it can’t cross the thick walls.
A new Zip unlocks every day at midnight in your time zone, and everyone gets the same grid. Monday and Tuesday are a relaxed 6×6, the middle of the week moves to 7×7 with a few walls, and weekends bring an 8×8 with fewer numbers to guide you. Most puzzles take one to three minutes.
Practice mode gives you unlimited new grids at any size.

🎮How to play
- 1
Press on the square marked 1. Your path always starts there.
- 2
Drag through neighbouring squares (or tap them one at a time) to extend the path.
- 3
Reach the numbers in order: you can only enter number 3 after you’ve passed 2.
- 4
Fill every square and finish on the highest number to solve the puzzle.
- 5
Made a wrong turn? Drag back along your path, tap any earlier square to continue from there, or use Undo.
💡Tips & tricks
- Tip 1
Look at the corners first. A corner square has only two neighbours, so the path must enter through one and leave through the other.
- Tip 2
Squares squeezed between walls and the edge often have just one way in and out, so fill those early.
- Tip 3
Before racing to the next number, check you’re not cutting off a pocket of empty squares you can never come back to.
- Tip 4
Plan the final stretch backwards from the last number: the path has to end there after covering everything else.
🙋Questions
When does the new Zip puzzle come out?
A new Zip unlocks every day at midnight in your local time. Everyone who plays on the same date gets the same grid, so you can compare times with friends.
Can I play more than one Zip a day?
Yes. Practice mode gives you unlimited new puzzles in three sizes. Only the daily counts toward your streak and points.
Is there only one correct path?
Not always. Any path that covers every square once, visits the numbers in order and ends on the last number counts as a solve.
How are points calculated?
Faster solves score more and each hint costs points. Bigger weekend grids are worth up to double. Solve the daily on consecutive days to build your streak.
