Watch. Listen. Echo it back. One more step every round.
Echo is a quick memory game for eyes and ears. A ring of coloured pads lights up one pad at a time, each with its own note, and you tap the pattern back in the same order. Every round plays the same pattern again with one more step on the end, so the tune you are holding in your head keeps growing.
You have three tries. A wrong pad costs one and plays the pattern again; the third mistake ends the game. Reach the last round to win, and the fewer mistakes and replays you need, the more points you score. Each pad has its own colour, shape and note, so you can follow it by sight, by sound or both.
Early in the week there are four pads and eight rounds. Midweek there are six pads and ten rounds, and at the weekend eight pads, twelve rounds and a faster tune. Everyone gets the same pattern on the same day, a new one unlocks at midnight in your time zone, and practice mode gives you unlimited extra patterns.

💡Tips & tricks
- Tip 1
Hum along. Each pad has its own note, and a tune is far easier to remember than a list of colours.
- Tip 2
Chunk the pattern into groups of three or four, the way you remember a phone number.
- Tip 3
Only the last step is new each round. Keep the start in your head and listen hard for the ending.
- Tip 4
Don’t rush your taps. The clock matters far less than a mistake does.
🙋Questions
How do I play Echo?
Press Listen and watch the pads light up in a pattern, then tap the same pads in the same order. Each round adds one more step. Reach the last round to win.
What happens if I tap the wrong pad?
You lose one of your three tries and the pattern plays again from the start of that round. The third mistake ends the game.
Can I hear the pattern again?
Yes. Replay plays the current pattern again, up to three times per puzzle. Each replay costs a few points. Replays are off in a 1v1 race.
Do I need sound?
No. Every pad has its own colour and shape as well as its own note, so Echo can be played with the sound off.
How are points calculated?
Faster solves score more, and each mistake or replay costs points. Weekend patterns are worth up to double. Win the daily on consecutive days to build your streak.
