Emoji Phrase is a daily word puzzle. Every day brings three well-known sayings, idioms and proverbs, each written only in emojis. 🌧️🐱🐶 is “It’s raining cats and dogs”, ⏰💰 is “Time is money”. Work out what the emojis are saying and type it into the letter tiles.
Each tile is one letter, and the gaps show where the words end, so you always know how long every word is. When you press Check, every word you got right turns green and stays put, and any wrong word counts as a mistake and clears for another try. Solve all three to finish the day.
Early in the week the sayings are short and the emojis fairly literal. By the weekend you get longer proverbs and cleverer clues. A new set unlocks every day at midnight in your time zone, and practice mode gives you unlimited extra rounds.

Look at the emojis and think of the saying they spell out.

Type it with the on-screen keys or your keyboard. Tiles fill in order; tap a tile to jump to it.

Press Check. Right words turn green and lock, wrong words flash red, count as a mistake and clear.

Stuck? Move to the next phrase and come back later, or use a hint to fill in a word.

Count the tiles. A two-letter word next to a five-letter one narrows things down fast.
- Tip 2
Short words like THE, A, OF and IN are almost always there. Getting them green first shows you the shape of the saying.
- Tip 3
Read the emojis as words, not pictures: ⬆️ can be “over” or “up”, 🔝 is “top”, 🚫 is often “don’t” or “no”.
- Tip 4
If a word won’t come, check the rest: the right neighbours often make the missing word obvious.

When do new emoji puzzles come out?
A new set of three unlocks every day at midnight in your local time. Everyone gets the same three sayings, so you can compare times and mistakes with friends.
Do spelling and punctuation matter?
Only the letters count. Apostrophes and commas are already shown on the board, and capital letters don’t matter. Common sayings use the usual American spelling, like “favors”.
How are points calculated?
You start from 1,000 and lose a little for every second, more for each mistake and each hint. Weekend sets are worth up to double. Solve every day to build your streak.
