Five scrambled words. One answer each. Unscramble them all.
Anagram is the classic unscramble game: the letters of a word, mixed up, and you put them back in order. Each daily puzzle has five rounds, and the words grow longer as you go, from a quick four-letter warm-up to a word of eight or nine letters at the weekend.
Every answer is a common everyday word, and every scramble has exactly one answer: we only use words whose letters spell nothing else. So when you find a word that fits, it is the word. Tap the tiles in order or simply type, and a full row that spells the word solves the round.
Early in the week the words run from four to six letters; midweek they reach seven, and from Friday to Sunday they run up to nine. A new puzzle unlocks every day at midnight in your time zone, and practice mode gives you unlimited extra rounds.

🎮How to play
- 1
Look at the scrambled letters of the first word.
- 2
Tap the tiles in the right order to rebuild the word, or type it on your keyboard.
- 3
Tap a letter in the answer row to take it back out; Clear empties the row.

💡Tips & tricks
- Tip 1
Look for common pairs and endings first: TH, CH, SH, -ER, -LY and -TION often slot together.
- Tip 2
Find where the vowels go. Most words alternate between vowels and consonants, so place the vowels and the rest follows.
- Tip 3
Hit 🔀 Shuffle when you are stuck. A new order breaks the pattern your eye keeps seeing.
- Tip 4
Try the rare letters in the obvious places: a Q is almost always followed by U, and an X or Z rarely starts a word.
🙋Questions
How do I play Anagram?
Each round shows a word with its letters scrambled. Tap the letters in the right order, or type them, to rebuild the word. Solve all five rounds to finish the puzzle.
Can a scramble have more than one answer?
No. Every answer is a word whose letters spell no other word in our list, so each scramble has exactly one answer.
How long are the words?
It depends on the day. Monday and Tuesday words have four to six letters, midweek up to seven, and from Friday to Sunday they run up to nine letters.
When does the new Anagram come out?
A new set of five words unlocks every day at midnight in your local time. Everyone who plays on the same date gets the same words.
How are points calculated?
Faster solves score more and each hint costs points. Weekend puzzles are worth up to double. Solve the daily on consecutive days to build your streak.
