Sun & Moon 1v1
Equal suns and moons in every line, never three in a row. = means same, × means different.
How a Sun & Moon duel works
- 1One grid for both
A fresh Sun & Moon grid is made for your match, with exactly one solution. You and your friend get the same givens and signs.
- 23-2-1, go
The race starts the moment your friend opens the link: a shared countdown, so you both start at exactly the same time.
- 3Balance every line
Each row and column gets equal suns and moons, never three of a kind in a row. Their bar counts the squares they have filled.
- 4No hints
Hints are off in a race. Undo and Clear still work, and rule breaks still light up red.
Who wins?
The first correct grid wins. Times are measured on our server from the shared start.
The other player wins straight away.
Either of you can offer a rematch: one tap, a new grid, a new 3-2-1.

How to beat your friend at Sun & Moon
Two of a kind side by side force the other kind on both ends. Sweep the grid for pairs before anything else.
Sun, empty, sun: that gap must be a moon. These are the fastest squares on the board.
When a row has all three of one kind, the rest fill themselves. Finish lines as soon as they’re forced.
Their bar counts filled squares, right or wrong. Only a correct grid ends the race.
Why Sun & Moon is made for 1v1
Sun & Moon is a binary logic puzzle in the family of Takuzu and Tango: suns and moons in balance, never three in a row, with = and × signs to follow. Head to head it rewards a fast eye for the forced squares, because a good solver barely guesses at all.
Every Sun & Moon 1v1 gets its own freshly made grid with exactly one solution, and both players get the identical givens and signs. The finished grid is checked on our server, and the time is measured there from the shared start, so a win is a real win.
Races are live. Send the link, keep the page open, and the moment your friend opens it you both get the same 3-2-1. If someone leaves mid-race or stops playing, the other player wins, and either of you can call a rematch in one tap. It is free, it runs in any browser, and nobody needs an account: just a name.
Prefer to play alone? Today’s daily Sun & Moon is the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard and streak.
