1v1 Dot Link head to head

Dot Link 1v1
Who links them all first?

Same dots, same board. Send a friend a link, start on the same 3-2-1, and connect all seven colours before they do.

Play today’s Dot Link

Free, no account. Send the link, keep this page open, and the race starts the moment your friend opens it.

How a Dot Link duel works

  1. 1One board for both

A fresh 7×7 board is made for your match. You and your friend get exactly the same seven pairs of dots.

  2. 23-2-1, go

The race starts the moment your friend opens the link: a shared countdown, so you both start drawing at exactly the same time.

  3. 3Link every colour

Join each pair with a line. Lines can’t cross, and the board is only done when every square is filled. Their bar counts finished lines.

  4. 4No hints

Hints are off in a race. Undo and redrawing a line still work.

Who wins?

Both finish

The first full board wins: every pair linked, every square filled. Times are measured on our server from the shared start.

Someone leaves, drops out for 15 seconds, or stops moving for 90 seconds

The other player wins straight away.

Want another go?

Either of you can offer a rematch: one tap, a new board, a new 3-2-1.

How to beat your friend at Dot Link

Edges first

Dots on the edge of the board usually want lines that hug the edge. Draw those early and the middle opens up.

Short pairs are free

Two dots next to each other, or one step apart, almost always link directly. Get them out of the way.

Every square counts

A board with all lines drawn but one empty square isn’t finished. When you are stuck, look for the lonely square.

Their bar isn’t the board

Six of seven lines can still need a full redraw if the last one has nowhere to go.

Why Dot Link is made for 1v1

Dot Link is the colourful logic puzzle where every pair of dots needs a line and every square needs filling. Against a friend on the same board it becomes a race to read the board fastest: which lines have only one way to go, and which ones you can leave for last.

Every Dot Link 1v1 gets its own freshly generated 7×7 board, and both players get the identical layout. The finished board is checked on our server line by line and the time is measured there from the shared start, so nobody can fake a finish.

Races are live. Send the link, keep the page open, and the moment your friend opens it you both get the same 3-2-1. If someone leaves mid-race or stops playing, the other player wins, and either of you can call a rematch in one tap. It is free, it runs in any browser, and nobody needs an account: just a name.

Prefer to play alone? Today’s daily Dot Link is the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard and streak.
