Join the colours. Fill the grid. No crossings.
Dot Link is a calm, satisfying logic puzzle. The grid holds pairs of coloured dots, and your job is to join every pair with a line of its own colour. Lines travel up, down, left or right, they can’t cross or share a square, and when you’re done every single square on the board must be covered. Joining the pairs is the easy part; filling the whole grid is the puzzle.
A new Dot Link arrives every day at midnight in your time zone, and everyone plays the same board. Early in the week it’s a 6×6 with six colours; mid-week grows to 7×7, and weekends bring an 8×8 with long, winding lines to work out. Most players finish in one to four minutes.
Want more than one a day? Practice mode creates a brand-new board every time, at whichever size you like, without touching your streak.

🎮How to play
- 1
Press on a dot and drag to its matching dot to draw a line in that colour.
- 2
Lines can’t go diagonally, cross another line or pass through another colour’s dot.
- 3
Drag over another colour’s line to cut it short and take that square. You can redraw it later.
- 4
Join every pair and cover every square on the board to solve it.
- 5
Wrong turn? Drag back along your line, start again from either dot, or press Undo.
💡Tips & tricks
- Tip 1
Start with dots near the edges and corners. Their lines usually have only one sensible route, and they leave the middle open for the rest.
- Tip 2
Two dots of the same colour that sit right next to the wall almost always hug the wall between them.
- Tip 3
If a square can only be reached by one colour, that colour has to go through it. Look for these dead ends.
- Tip 4
All pairs joined but squares left over? Pick the line next to the gap and stretch it through the empty squares instead of taking the shortest route.
🙋Questions
When does the new Dot Link puzzle come out?
Every day at midnight in your local time. Everyone who plays on the same date gets the same board, so you can compare times with friends and on the leaderboard.
Is there only one solution?
Not always. Any set of lines that joins every pair, never crosses and fills every square counts as solved, even if it isn’t the one we had in mind.
Do I have to fill every square?
Yes. Joining all the pairs isn’t enough on its own: the puzzle is solved only when the whole board is covered by lines.
How are points calculated?
Faster solves score more and each hint costs points. Bigger weekend boards are worth up to double. Solve the daily on consecutive days to build your streak.
